Policy Statement

General work carried out by the company does not normally result in the working with cantaminants that require special methods to dispose of the materials. It is the company policy to ensure that all waste is disposed of in the correct manner to ensure an environmentally friendly atmosphere.

Employees are requested to minimise, pollution, noise, waste and the use of natural resources and must familiarise and comply with environmental rules on clients sites.

COSHH 

Any containers that have a warning label attached, the instructions will be read on how to dispose of any such materials and the PPE required will be worn for this task to ensure compliance with the regulations.

Asbestos Working

Working with asbestos is not permitted and if on site asbestos is found work will be stopped immediately and the material will be checked to confirm what the substance is. 

Policy Updates 

The company will comply with the current legislation and will continue to update its procedures to comply with any new legislation that will be issued in the future to protect the enviroment.
